COVID-19 Resources

The impact of COVID-19 around the world has been unprecedented, and with its arrival here at home, our main priority continues to be the health and wellness of our employees, clients and community.

The Truro and Colchester Partnership for Economic Prosperity focuses on connecting people from any industry or sector to the supports and resources they need to succeed.  We know that right now, this is more important than ever to our business community.

The below resources, guides, links, and tools contain helpful information to help our local business community as we navigate these challenging times together. If you have any questions, please email us at info@tcpep.ca

Preparing Your Business

It’s important for Truro Colchester businesses to have contingency plans in place to manage potential risks of COVID and future pandemics. The following guides and resources have been developed to help businesses prepare.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has created a guide to help businesses prepare for, and manage through, a potential COVID-19 escalation in Canada.

The Business Development Bank of Canada has created a toolkit of templates to help businesses minimize the risk that an emergency poses to operations and bottom line.

The Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses has compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help small business owners prepare for a potential crisis.

The World Health Organization has created a guide to getting your workplace ready for COVID-19 with tips on preventing the spread and managing risks when organizing meetings and events.

The Government of Canada has compiled a number of helpful resources to help Canadian businesses at this time.
