Consumer Survey July 2020

The Truro & Colchester Partnership for Economic Prosperity and our Business Development colleagues developed and launched a Consumer Behaviour Survey in late July 2020.

The purpose was to better understand changing local consumer behaviour and make this information available to local businesses.

We received 610 responses through an online survey.  Some key findings are listed below and the report summary can be downloaded here.

The survey was crafted and supported by our local business development partners who meet regularly to enhance services to business. Partners include:  Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, The Municipality of Colchester, CBDC NOBL, the Downtown Truro Partnership, NSCC Truro, Truro & Colchester Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Truro.

Q2. What activities did you normally do in Truro Colchester before COVID-19? (Please check all that apply)
Thinking about your activity from March-June under strict COVID-19 measures, how did your activities change?
The economy is slowly reopening under a new normal. We may need to continue physical distancing, and we may need to continue wearing masks when visiting businesses. As a result, will you change the amount of in-person activity such as local shopping, and attending movies, concerts, and events?
